Abstract

The integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) into organizational operations presents significant opportunities and challenges. While existing models such as the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) offer foundational insights into technology adoption, they are insufficient to fully capture the complexities surrounding AI implementation. This design paper proposes an extended TAM framework that incorporates critical external variables such as organizational barriers, top management support, AI characteristics, data quality, governance, talent barriers, geo-political influences, and technological readiness. The proposed model aims to provide a comprehensive understanding of AI readiness and acceptance, serving as a basis for future empirical investigation.
