Abstract

Persekitaran pembelajaran maya menawarkan kemudahan yang fleksibel dan capaian jarak jauh untuk proses pengajaran dan pembelajaran (PdP). Walau bagaimanapun, terdapat cabaran dalam memastikan kehadiran pelajar secara sah dan tumpuan penuh semasa PdP dalam talian, terutama bagi kelas makmal pengaturcaraan. Kesukaran untuk memantau pelajar secara langsung bagi mengelakkan ketidakjujuran sepanjang PdP boleh menjejaskan pencapaian objektif pembelajaran. Kajian ini mengkaji teknologi pengesanan kehadiran pelajar yang digunakan dalam kelas dalam talian di institusi pengajian tinggi terpilih. Pendekatan kajian ini melibatkan tinjauan literatur berstruktur untuk membangunkan kerangka konseptual yang menggabung teknologi pengesanan kehadiran dan keterlibatan pelajar secara aktif. Ini bertujuan untuk memperkukuh kualiti pembelajaran digital seiring dengan tuntutan Revolusi Pendidikan 5.0.

The virtual learning environment offers flexible and remote access to teaching and learning (T&L) processes. However, challenges remain in ensuring the authenticity of student attendance and maintaining their full attention during online T&L sessions, particularly for programming laboratory classes. Difficulties in monitoring students directly to prevent academic dishonesty throughout online sessions may hinder the achievement of intended learning objectives. This study examines student attendance detection technologies used in online classes at selected higher education institutions. The research uses a structured literature review approach to develop a conceptual framework that integrates attendance detection technologies with active student engagement. The aim is to strengthen the quality of digital learning in line with the demands of Education Revolution 5.0.
