Abstract

Kajian ini dijalankan bertujuan untuk membangunkan dan menilai kebolehgunaan Modul LoopGuide sebagai bahan bantu mengajar digital bagi amali penyediaan mesin jahit industri dalam kursus VCD3033 Asas Pembuatan Pakaian. Modul ini mengintegrasikan Model ADDIE dengan sandaran  teori Konstruktivisme dan teori Kognitif Multimedia. Metodologi kajian melibatkan penilaian kesahan oleh tiga orang pakar serta penilaian kebolehgunaan 70 orang pelajar, menggunakan instrumen soal selidik berskala Likert lima mata. Dapatan menunjukkan nilai kesahan yang tinggi bagi semua aspek iaitu kesahan muka (91.41%), kandungan (97.8%), multimedia (93.3%) dan teknikal (93.3%). Penilaian kebolehgunaan turut mencatatkan skor min tinggi iaitu 4.68 bagi semua komponen meliputi kegunaan, kemudahan penggunaan, kemudahan pembelajaran dan kepuasan pelajar. Dapatan kajian ini membuktikan bahawa Modul LoopGuide efektif, diterima baik, dan bersifat fleksibel untuk menyokong pembelajaran amali di dalam mahupun di luar. Berdasarkan penemuan ini, beberapa cadangan telah dikemukakan untuk pertimbangan pengkaji akan datang bagi meningkatkan keberkesanan modul. Antaranya termasuk penambahbaikan aspek keterbacaan seperti pembesaran saiz dan pemilihan jenis tulisan yang lebih sesuai, penggunaan reka bentuk visual yang lebih kemas serta integrasi elemen interaktif seperti ruangan komen dan maklum balas pengguna. Selain itu, pengkaji akan datang juga disarankan mempertimbangkan penggunaan animasi 3D yang lebih terperinci bagi membantu pelajar memahami proses teknikal secara visual. Cadangan turut merangkumi pelaksanaan kajian lanjutan bagi menilai keberkesanan modul terhadap pencapaian pelajar melalui ujian teori dan amali sebelum dan selepas penggunaan, serta pemerhatian terhadap prestasi pelajar dalam situasi sebenar. Secara tuntas, Modul LoopGuide berpotensi besar sebagai inovasi instruksional yang menyumbang kepada amalan pengajaran TVET abad ke-21.

This study was conducted to develop and evaluate the usability of the LoopGuide Module as a digital teaching aid for practical industrial sewing machine preparation in the VCD3033 Fundamentals of Clothing Manufacturing course. This module integrates the ADDIE Model with the theoretical basis of Constructivism and Cognitive Multimedia theory. The study methodology involved validity assessment by three experts as well as usability assessment by 70 students, using a five-point Likert scale questionnaire instrument. The findings showed high validity values ​​for all aspects, namely face validity (91.41%), content (97.8%), multimedia (93.3%) and technical (93.3%). The usability assessment also recorded a high mean score of 4.68 for all components including usability, ease of use, ease of learning and student satisfaction. The findings of this study prove that the LoopGuide Module is effective, well-received, and flexible to support practical learning both indoors and outdoors. Based on these findings, several suggestions have been put forward for future researchers to consider to improve the effectiveness of the module. These include improvements in readability aspects such as increasing the size and selecting a more appropriate font, using a cleaner visual design, and integrating interactive elements such as a comment section and user feedback. In addition, future researchers are also advised to consider using more detailed 3D animations to help students understand the technical process visually. The proposal also includes implementing further research to evaluate the effectiveness of the module on student achievement through theoretical and practical tests before and after use, as well as observations of student performance in real situations. In conclusion, the LoopGuide Module has great potential as an instructional innovation that contributes to 21st century TVET teaching practices.
