Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi digital telah membuka peluang baharu dalam pendidikan khas dengan menyediakan pendekatan pembelajaran yang lebih interaktif dan sesuai dengan keperluan pelajar. Kajian ini dijalankan bagi menilai keberkesanan penggunaan Teknologi Maklumat dan Komunikasi (ICT) serta Kecerdasan Buatan (AI) terhadap pengetahuan dan minat pelajar pendidikan khas di Kolej Komuniti Malaysia. Reka bentuk kajian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif berbentuk pra dan pasca ujian, melibatkan 31 orang pelajar pendidikan khas daripada kategori masalah pembelajaran dan pendengaran. Dua instrumen digunakan, iaitu ujian pengetahuan ICT dan soal selidik minat pembelajaran bagi menilai perubahan sebelum dan selepas intervensi. Dapatan menunjukkan peningkatan min skor pengetahuan ICT daripada 15.52 kepada 19.32, manakala min skor minat pembelajaran meningkat daripada 4.04 kepada 4.11. Secara keseluruhannya, pembelajaran berasaskan ICT dan AI didapati berkesan dalam meningkatkan kefahaman dan minat pelajar pendidikan khas, sekali gus menyumbang kepada amalan pembelajaran yang lebih inklusif dan bermakna.

The development of digital technology has opened up new opportunities in special education by providing a more interactive learning approach that is suitable for students' needs. This study was conducted to assess the effectiveness of the use of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) on the knowledge and interests of special education students at Malaysian Community Colleges. The study design used a quantitative approach in the form of pre- and post-tests, involving 31 special education students from the learning and hearing disability categories. Two instruments were used, namely the ICT knowledge test and the learning interest questionnaire to assess changes before and after the intervention. The findings showed an increase in the mean ICT knowledge score from 15.52 to 19.32, while the mean learning interest score increased from 4.04 to 4.11. Overall, ICT and AI-based learning was found to be effective in increasing the understanding and interests of special education students, thus contributing to more inclusive and meaningful learning practices.
